The town is tiny and entirely walkable — you can cover the main street, both gateways, the central square, and the market halls in under an hour on foot. The grid layout makes it impossible to get lost.
The park is a 10–15 minute walk from the town centre. To explore it fully — the long chestnut allée, the canal, the rose gardens — allow 20–30 minutes on foot or bring a bike. Cycling through the surrounding Touraine countryside is excellent: the terrain is gentle, the roads are quiet, and the landscape of vineyards and farmland rewards slow travel.
