A 16th-century grain barn built by the monks of Clairvaux, the Cornay barn sits in the agricultural landscape east of the abbey. It illustrates how Clairvaux managed its extensive landholdings through a network of outlying farms — an economic model that made the Cistercians one of the wealthiest institutions in medieval France. Part of the abbey heritage circuit; visit in conjunction with the Colombé-le-Sec cellar and the Cistercian exhibition at the church in Ville-sous-la-Ferté.
