The upper town has a small concentration of restaurants and créperies around Place du Châtel and along Rue Saint-Jean. Most are tourist-oriented; the better tables sit a street or two away from the main square. Several places lean hard into the medieval theme — meals served on wooden boards, mead by the goblet — which is good fun for the kids if a little kitsch. For more conventional French cooking, head to the lower town where prices are also lower.
