Les Aigles des Remparts

Falconry show with eagles, vultures and other raptors

Address Boulevard d'Aligre, 77160 Provins
Admission €12.50; combined ticket €13.10
Opening Hours Easter–Nov; multiple shows daily

A 45-minute outdoor falconry show that uses real eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons and owls — over 80 birds in total. The arena sits in a hollow against the ramparts and is laid out so that the audience watches the birds fly directly over their heads as they swoop from one perch to another.

The presenter explains each species while flying it, including practical notes on the role of falconry in medieval daily life — Provins was a major trading centre for trained hunting birds during the fair seasons. The largest birds (Andean condors, vultures with wing spans well over two metres) produce reactions in the audience even from people who have seen falconry shows elsewhere.

Shows run two or three times a day from Easter to early November. The seating is exposed; bring something for rain or strong sun.
