Le Boulingrin is the most characterful brasserie in Reims, housed in a landmark 1925 Art Deco interior that has survived intact. The original ceramic wall tiles, banquette seating, and zinc bar make it feel genuinely of its era. It is listed as a historic monument for its interior alone.
The food is solidly traditional brasserie fare — choucroute, steak-frites, andouillette, and plateaux de fruits de mer at weekends. The house champagnes by the glass are good value. Located near the covered market, it draws a mix of locals and tourists and fills quickly on weekend lunchtimes.
