Reims takes its food as seriously as its champagne. The city has two Michelin-starred restaurants and a strong tradition of regional cooking built around andouillette (tripe sausage), pied de cochon (pig's trotter), and local cheeses. Biscuits roses de Reims — pink biscuits traditionally dunked in champagne — are sold in every patisserie. The rue de Vesle and rue de Mars have the highest concentration of restaurants within easy walking distance of the main sights.
