Former archbishop's palace housing coronation treasures

The former Archbishop's Palace, built by Jules Hardouin-Mansart and Robert de Cotte in 1690, stands directly beside the Cathedral. Today it houses the cathedral treasury: medieval tapestries, original statues removed from the Cathedral facade for preservation, and the objects used in French royal coronation ceremonies including the talisman of Charlemagne.
