Cargèse is about 50 km by road north of Ajaccio, on the coastal route toward Porto and Piana. Driving is the easiest way to combine it with beaches, viewpoints, and the Omigna peninsula.
Bus service from Ajaccio exists but is limited, so check the current timetable before planning a car-free day trip.
