Tour d'Omigna is the payoff for the headland walk north of Cargèse. The Genoese tower stands at the end of a long, exposed peninsula, with open sea on both sides and little shade along the way.
The walk is not difficult in good weather, but it feels wilder than the distance suggests. Avoid strong heat and wind, and bring water; this is a coast to enjoy slowly, not a place to rush between beaches.
