The beach at Eze-bord-de-mer is a classic Riviera pebble shore — not the wide sandy beaches of the Var, but clean, quiet, and well-positioned between Nice and Monaco. The water is clear and the setting backed by the limestone cliffs of the Corniche is dramatic. There are a couple of beach restaurants and loungers for hire in summer, but out of season you'll often have the shore to yourself.
The beach is a short walk from the train station, which makes it unusually accessible for a stretch of coast where parking is limited and roads are tight. The proximity to both Nice (20 minutes by train) and Monaco (10 minutes) makes Eze-bord-de-mer a sensible base if you want to combine beach days with day trips along the coast.
