Narbonne is well connected by rail. Direct TGV services run from Paris Gare de Lyon in around 3.5 hours, and there are frequent regional trains along the Mediterranean coast to and from Montpellier, Perpignan, Marseille, and Barcelona. The station is a 10-minute walk from the old town.
By road, the A61 from Toulouse and the A9 from the Spanish border and Perpignan both pass through Narbonne, making it easy to reach by car from any direction. The nearest airports are Montpellier Méditerranée (90 km) and Perpignan-Rivesaltes (65 km), both served by budget airlines from northern Europe.
