Puycelsi's ramparts are the village's main event. They wrap the rocky spur with views across the Vère valley and into the Grésigne forest, making clear why the village was built up here in the first place.
Walk them slowly, especially near sunset. The stonework is modest compared with a grand citadel, but the setting is excellent.
