The nearest major airport is Nice Côte d'Azur, about 40 kilometres west. From there, regional trains on the Marseille–Ventimiglia line run frequently to Menton station — the journey takes around 35 minutes. The TER service is cheap and reliable.
By car from Nice, the A8 autoroute runs along the coast with an exit at Menton; allow 45 minutes allowing for traffic. The Moyenne Corniche (N7) is slower but considerably more scenic. From Monaco, Menton is 10 kilometres east — 20 minutes by train, longer by road.
Cross-border visitors from Italy arrive via Ventimiglia, which is 10 kilometres east. Trains and buses cross the border regularly.
