Port Grimaud Beach

The long sandy beach at the entrance to Port Grimaud stretches along the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and is one of the better public beaches on this stretch of coastline. The sand is fine, the water clear, and the sheltered bay means it is usually calm. Sun loungers are available for hire on the organised sections of the beach; free sections exist towards the edges.

The beach faces west, which makes it particularly good for late afternoon and early evening swimming when the light on the gulf turns golden. Looking back towards the village from the beach you get the best overall view of Port Grimaud's waterfront — the church tower above the clustered rooflines with the Maures hills behind.
