Voletarium is Europa-Park's flying-theatre ride, a gentler counterpoint to the big coasters. Riders sit in suspended rows facing a huge screen and glide over filmed European landscapes with wind, motion, and scent effects doing the persuasive work.
It is a good first ride for mixed groups: cinematic enough for adults, exciting enough for children, and not as physically punishing as the launch coasters.
