Pforzheim sits at the meeting of three rivers — the Enz, the Nagold, and the Würm — and the confluences are the most-photographed natural feature in the city. The Nagold flows in from the Black Forest to the south; the Würm joins from the south-west; the combined stream becomes the Enz, which leaves north-east to find the Neckar.
A short walking route links the three meeting points via the Auerbrücke and the Brückenstraße. Combine with the Schlosskirche, which stands on the bluff directly above the main confluence.
