Murnau's attractions divide neatly between its Blaue Reiter artistic heritage and its natural setting. The Schlossmuseum and the Münter-Haus cover the art; the Staffelsee and the Murnauer Moos cover the landscape. The town's Obermarkt is one of the prettiest main streets in Upper Bavaria, worth wandering before you go to either museum.
