Fränkisches Museum

The Franconian Museum, occupying a row of historic houses on the market square, is the regional museum for Franconian folk art and rural life. The collections cover faience pottery, glass, costume, painted furniture, peasant interiors, and the lavish silverwork that small-town Franconian goldsmiths produced from the 17th to the 19th century.

Allow about an hour and a half. Labels are in German only, but the objects largely speak for themselves. Closed Mondays.
