Freibad Point is a simple lakeside swimming area a short walk south of Tegernsee's centre. It is not fancy, which is part of the appeal: grass, water, mountains, and enough room to settle in on a warm afternoon.
Come here when the lake itself is the plan rather than a backdrop. The water is cold outside high summer, but even a short swim feels properly Alpine.
