St. Bernard is a small mountain parish church above Spitzingsee, consecrated in 1938 and dedicated to the patron saint of climbers and skiers. Its interest is partly the setting: it is billed as Germany's highest parish church, and it fits naturally into a walk around the lake or a day in the surrounding hills.
