The Seehundstation Nationalpark-Haus is both a seal rescue centre and a visitor centre for the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. Orphaned or injured seals are cared for here before release, while the exhibits explain tides, mudflats, birds, and marine mammals.
It is especially useful before a mudflat walk or ferry trip, because it makes the flat coast feel far less empty. Families will like it, but the Wadden Sea context is useful for adults too.
