The three Kaiserbad districts are lined with Bäderarchitektur, the light, decorative resort architecture of the German Baltic coast. Look for balconies, verandas, towers, timber trim, and white facades set back behind gardens.
The buildings are best taken as a walk rather than a checklist. Bansin and Heringsdorf have especially good stretches, and the style is a big part of why the resort feels grand without feeling heavy.
