The Historical Technical Museum is Peenemünde's essential sight. It occupies the huge brick power station that once supplied the Nazi research complex, and its exhibitions trace how the V-1 and V-2 weapons were designed, built, tested, and used.
The museum does not treat rocket history as clean engineering romance. It explains the forced labour, military purpose, and civilian destruction behind the technology, which is why the visit is more powerful than a simple display of machines.
