The Old City Hall and the adjoining theatre form the most formal corner of central Bielefeld. Both date from the early 20th century, with a confident civic style that survived better than much of the old town.
They are not a reason to travel across Germany, but they are worth a look while walking between the station, the old centre, and Sparrenberg.
