The Roman Museum in Schwarzenacker is an open-air archaeological museum built around the remains of a Gallo-Roman settlement. Reconstructed houses, streets, drains, and exhibits make the site easier to read than a field of foundations.
It is the best complement to the Schlossberg. Together they give Homburg a deeper history than its modern industrial character first suggests.
