Dresden and Leipzig are both served by ICE high-speed trains from Berlin (about 1h15), Frankfurt (about 3h), and Munich (about 4h). Both cities also have airports, with Leipzig-Halle handling more budget carriers. From Dresden, regional trains reach Meissen (30 minutes), Bautzen (45 minutes), and the Sächsische Schweiz stations (45 minutes). The A4 and A14 motorways connect the major cities.
