Büsum is best outdoors when the weather cooperates: harbour, dike, beach, mudflat, repeat. The Wadden Sea is the serious draw, but the town also has enough small sights for a wet afternoon, especially the fishing museum and Phänomania. If you only have a few hours, stay close to the harbour and main beach; that is where Büsum feels most itself.
