Greiz has its own station on the regional line that runs from Gera south through the Vogtland. Trains to Gera take around half an hour; from there, intercity connections continue to Leipzig, Erfurt and Berlin. Travelling by car, the town is on the L1083, about half an hour from the A4 motorway and an hour from Leipzig airport.
The nearest large airports are Leipzig/Halle (LEJ) and Dresden (DRS).
