Naumburg (Saale) Hauptbahnhof is on the main railway line between Leipzig and Weimar. Direct trains run roughly every hour; journey times are about 35 minutes from Leipzig and 30 minutes from Weimar. Erfurt is about 50 minutes away, Halle under 30 minutes. There is no direct service from Berlin — change at Halle or Leipzig.
By road, Naumburg lies on the A9 Autobahn between Berlin and Munich, about 200 kilometres from Berlin and 150 from Frankfurt. The old town is compact and best explored on foot once you arrive.
