The Csömödér State Forest Railway is Lenti's most charming oddity. The narrow-gauge trains run seasonally from near the main railway station through the forests and small settlements of the Kerka valley.
It is slow, practical only in a romantic sense, and much better for the journey than the destination. Check operating days carefully: this is a warm-season outing, not an everyday commuter service.
