Messinn has been one of the best-value seafood restaurants in the city centre for years. The signature dish is fish served in the cast-iron pan it was cooked in — Arctic char in honey and almonds, cod in chorizo broth, salmon with capers and butter — with potatoes and salad on the side.
The dining room is small and gets busy at peak; book ahead or come for lunch when the same dishes are cheaper. Mains 3,500–4,800 ISK.
