East End Bay is the island's easiest beach reward, a sheltered sweep of sand on the eastern side of Inishbofin. It is a good place to slow down after walking from the harbour, especially on a calm day.
The beach is simple rather than developed. Bring what you need, watch the weather, and give yourself enough time to get back for the ferry.
