Kilcullen's Seaweed Baths opened in 1912 and still offers the old west-coast treatment: a private bath of hot seawater and fresh seaweed in a simple Edwardian building beside the beach. It is part spa, part local tradition, and much more memorable than a standard soak.
Book ahead in summer or on weekends. The experience is quiet and unshowy, which is exactly why it works.
