The Atlantic is the bar inside the Lansdowne Arms Hotel at the top of the town and the most reliable spot for a late drink. It stays open after most of the other pubs have called time, and the crowd is a mix of locals winding down and visitors winding up.
Reasonable selection of Irish whiskeys behind the bar; food until late on busy nights. The hotel itself dates from the eighteenth century and has been refitted but kept its bones.
