Kenmare punches above its weight for pubs, partly because so many of them have a back room used for traditional music sessions. The triangle of Henry Street, Main Street, and Shelbourne Street holds most of them. Crowley's and Davitt's are the most reliable for music; the Atlantic Bar is the late-night option.
For daytime coffee, the cafés clustered around Henry Street and the new shopping court do solid work. Most close by six, which is when the pubs take over.
