Lanciano sits inland from the Trabocchi Coast, about 40 km southeast of Pescara. Trains on the regional Sangritana network serve Lanciano station, while drivers can use the A14 coast motorway via the Lanciano exit and climb inland from there.
Public transport is workable for a day trip, but a car gives you more freedom to combine Lanciano with Ortona, the coastal trabocchi, or the foothills of the Majella.
