The village has one or two restaurants serving Abruzzese mountain food: lentil soup with cotechino, arrosticini (skewered lamb, Abruzzo's signature dish), pasta e fagioli, and local pecorino cheese. The cooking is simple and very good -- ingredient-led, without pretension. Options change by season and the village is too small for a reliable long-term recommendation; ask at the albergo diffuso for the current best choice when you arrive.
