The Capo Mele Lighthouse stands on the rocky headland at the western edge of Andora's bay, a working lighthouse that has guided ships along this stretch of the Ligurian coast for over a century. The approach road leads to a small parking area from which you can walk along the clifftops above the sea. On a clear day the views east toward Capo Cervo and the hills behind Diano Marina are exceptional; to the west on very clear days you can see the French Riviera.
The headland is quiet even in summer, largely unknown to the beach crowd in the town below. The lighthouse itself is operational and not open to visitors, but the clifftop paths and the views are the reason to come.
