Parco del Beigua

The Beigua Regional Nature Park is a UNESCO Global Geopark covering the high coastal ridge between Arenzano and Varazze. From the town it is a steep climb — by car up winding road or on foot via marked trails — into a landscape of beech forest, serpentine outcrops, and panoramic ridges where you can see the Maritime Alps and Corsica on a clear day.

The summit of Monte Beigua (1287 m) is reachable in a day from Arenzano if you are fit; less ambitious walkers can stop at the Passo della Gavetta or take the chair lift section near Sciarborasca. The park also has a visitor centre at Pratorondanino with a small alpine botanical garden.
