Bardineto sits in the upper Bormida valley, accessed via the SP45 road from Loano on the coast or from Millesimo to the north. There is no railway station; the nearest rail connections are at Loano (about 25km south on the coast) or Millesimo (about 20km northeast).
By car is the practical option. From the A10 autostrada, exit at Borghetto Santo Spirito and follow signs toward Loano and then Bardineto via Toirano. The drive from the coast takes around 40 minutes and passes through increasingly dramatic hill scenery.
Local buses connect Bardineto to Loano and to Millesimo, but services are infrequent — check current timetables before relying on them. A car is strongly recommended if you plan to explore the surrounding countryside.
