Things to Do

Celle Ligure is a slow-paced beach town rather than a sightseeing destination. The main attraction is the long sandy beach in the bay south of the Borgo — sheltered, family-friendly and rare on this otherwise pebbly stretch of Riviera. Above the beach the old village climbs the hillside in classic Ligurian fashion, its narrow lanes worth an evening passeggiata even if you came for the sea. The coastal path up Capo Olmo gives a sense of the wilder Riviera, and the Oratorio di San Michele's summer classical concerts are a small but characterful fixture of the season.
