Giusvalla sits in the Ligurian Apennines about 45 kilometres west of Genoa and 20 kilometres northwest of Savona. It is best reached by car — the village is not served by rail and public bus connections are infrequent.
By car: From Savona, take the A6 motorway north towards Turin and exit at Altare, then follow the SP29 northwest towards Giusvalla. The drive from Savona takes about 30 minutes. From Genoa, take the A26 towards Alessandria and then the A6 southbound, exiting at Altare.
By bus: There are limited regional bus services connecting Giusvalla with Savona and Cairo Montenotte, operated by TPL Linea. Frequency is low — check schedules carefully and allow extra time.
