Palazzo Del Carretto

The Palazzo Del Carretto, the sixteenth-century palace the Marquises built once they had given up on the windy hilltop castle, sits at the centre of the old town. It is a four-square Renaissance block with a deep eaved roof, now serving as Millesimo's town hall.

The interior is occasionally open for civic events; the courtyard, with its arched loggia, is worth a glance at any time.
