The older of Stellanello's two churches, San Gregorio dates from the fifteenth century and is the more characterful building. It has a fine baroque altar installed in a later renovation, but the fabric of the structure — the stone walls, the proportions, the setting among the village houses — belongs to an earlier and simpler Liguria.
Like San Vincenzo, it is normally locked and opens only for services. If you find it open, take a moment inside; the combination of medieval bones and baroque furnishing is typical of how these hill churches evolved over the centuries.
