A small but well-organised archaeological museum in the centre of Toirano, displaying the finds from the Grotte di Toirano and the other caves of the valley. Prehistoric tools, pottery fragments, and most strikingly the cave bear skeletons that did not get left in situ for the cave tour.
It is worth half an hour either before or after the cave visit — the museum puts the underground experience in context. Tickets to the museum are often combined with the cave admission at a small discount.
