Casa del Cappellaio

Casa del Cappellaio is a Renaissance house from 1462 with fresco decoration attributed to the school of Andrea Mantegna. It is a small architectural stop, but the building helps show how Mantua's artistic life extended beyond the ducal palaces.

Look for it while walking the compact historic centre around the clock tower, Palazzo della Ragione, and Palazzo Ducale.
