Casa della Beata Osanna Andreasi is a small historic house that rewards travellers who have already seen Mantua's grand ducal sights and want something quieter. The house is associated with Osanna Andreasi, a 15th-century Mantuan noblewoman and Dominican tertiary, and preserves the domestic scale of Renaissance devotion rather than court power.
Do not expect Palazzo Te drama here. The appeal is intimacy: rooms, devotional memory, and the sense of a local saintly figure embedded in the city's old aristocratic fabric. It makes a good short stop while wandering between Mantua's churches and palaces.
