Salò is served by regular ferries and hydrofoils on Lake Garda, connecting it to Desenzano, Sirmione, and the eastern shore towns. The most practical route by land is from Brescia: buses run regularly to Salò from Brescia station and take about an hour. By car, the SS45bis follows the western shore of the lake. The nearest train station is Desenzano del Garda-Sirmione, about 25 km south.
