Ristorante Al Fiore

One of the better restaurants in the old town, with a terrace that sits close enough to the lake to feel genuinely lakeside. The menu focuses on Lake Garda fish: lavarello (whitefish) grilled or in carpaccio, persico (lake perch) with polenta, and a seafood risotto that is a reliable choice. Prices are tourist-town levels but the quality justifies them.

Book ahead in summer, particularly for outdoor tables. The indoor room is pleasanter than most competitors on the main drag — less formal than it looks from outside.
