The closest thing Urbino has to a destination restaurant — a vaulted brick room tucked into a quiet lane, run by the Brandetti family for several generations. The cooking is rigorously local: hand-rolled passatelli in brodo, wide pappardelle with wild boar ragu, rabbit roasted in porchetta, and white truffles in season (October to December — a big deal in the Marche).
Reservations essential, especially on weekends. Mains €18-25, full meal with local wine €45-60. Closed Tuesdays.
